Alien Field Notes

They ain't even hiding it anymore

I'm just a malfunctioning alien-human hybrid publishing my thoughts and experiences

As I was in that aforementioned facility for almost two months, I had a lot of time to sit and think. Think and plan. At one point I was imagining a winter camping setup with a bushcraft shelter, firepit and various bushcraft projects. During one of my breaks I checked Youtube on my phone and there was a video for "winter camping" there in my recommendations upon opening the app.

It happened again as I was thinking of a doing another DIY hiking pole for my treks. Sure enough a video of "how to build a survival stave" was at the top of my recommendations. I hadn't searched it, just thought about it.

I even had a fellow patient in that facility notice that a facebook post about "what it means if your outlet plugs are this way" (upside down), as she was thinking about how all the plugs were upside in the facility and her phone was locked away.

I recall a reddit post about a couple who installed in-home wifi cameras. One of them was deaf and were signing together over an item. Again, the next day they started receiving advertisements for that very item. And while the responses said they must've looked it up and forgot, the couple insisted they hadn't.

It's creepy enough that home wifi cameras are seemingly recording you and giving you ads. You probably experienced that yourself by talking about something in a store and then getting an ad for it, but the dystopian idea that BCI (brain control interface) is being used by the algorithm to show you ads is terrifying to me. Speaking of dystopian, I sent an email to one of my parents using the word dystopian, sure enough my Youtube feed recommended this that very afteroon.

It goes even further. I was joking to myself about strange haircuts and mused about the typical marine "jarhead" haircut being reduced to a teacup. A few days later I looked outside my window to see a man standing at the bus stop with none other than a small tuft of hair that would fit in a teacup on the top of his otherwise shaved head. That man turned an walked and meandered through the crowd at the bus station, so he was a real person. Where did he come from? If it were chance, what motivated him to sport such a strange haircut in a small town. Was he not a real person, like some generation of politicians come from seemingly nowhere.

How about the stain that appeared on my wall, changed shape and has persisted there for almost a year. If you look closely, the texture of the paint itself has changed, as though it was briefly liquid, and then reset.

Where does all this come from? It seems to me to be reverse-engineered alien technology, as I've heard that there's a secretive race on to engineer such technology going on all around the world. There's a theory that below the quantum layer of reality, there's an information layer, computing reality. This theory requires a particle accelerator far beyond the scale we currently have, and that's just to test the theory. But as the theory goes, if you could understand this layer, it could lead to manipulation of it too. Just like those chunks of my teeth that fell out during an episode, other elements of this world could be removed, modified and even added.

As a misanthrope and quite the hermit, I find it unsurprising that advanced technology that is manipulating reality itself is being used to intimidate, harass, torture and otherwise control the population by creating an atmosphere of fear and paranoia. In the case where amphetamine and some other exotic drug showed up in my system, there was no opportunity to slip it into my food as I cook all my food at home and the water goes to other tenants as well. What seems to be happening here is that known technology is used to obfuscate the truth, that reality is being manipulated directly, but always leaving the victim thinking someone grounded in reality like the water being spiked was my first thought.

But think of the flipside. If drugs can be remotely introduced into someone's system to torture them (was keeping me awake for 3 straight days), that same tech could remotely deliver necessary medications to people who need it the most. The WHO would certainly appreciate that ability, no?

In the case of the downed American pilot in the current Iraq war, the headline was "we got him!", with the quote "if he's got a heartbeat, we'll find him". That same technology (or ability rather, maybe we should call it an ability) could be used to locate missing people, people lost at sea or someone who's injured themselves in some remote place. Forensics could determine the last known location of someone who was alive, perhaps even dead. Remote neural monitoring would mean there'd be no hiding crimes, no juries, no judges. The act or non-act would known and the state of mind determined with 100% accuracy. Implementing such a system would have massive effects on all of humanity however.

My blog title is only half joking, as the same apparatus called me an "alien" a few times. Perhaps it's true. But this alien laments the current use of this tech, these abilities, being used to terrorize the population rather than help. Perhaps one day it'll be used for good... but the misanthrope in me thinks not. Hopefully I'm wrong.
